Kemo Razanica to succeed Erwin Winkel

At its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of RWE Power AG appointed Kemo Razanica as Ordinary Member of the Executive Board of RWE Power AG for a period of three years with effect from 1 April 2018. On 1 July 2018, the 53 year-old from Lünen will take over from Erwin Winkel as Chief HR Officer and Labour Director of RWE Power AG.

Mr. Razanica is an authorised signatory at RAG Aktiengesellschaft where he heads up the Department responsible for Personnel and Socio-political Issues. He has concurrently headed up the RAG Verkauf GmbH’s Personnel Department for the last five years. Following his commercial and technical work at the Zollverein coking plant, he became the Secretary of the IG BCE Trade Union from 1990 to 2006.

In July, following a three-month transitional handover period, Mr. Razanica will take on the tasks of Erwin Winkel, who will then retire.

Rolf Martin Schmitz, CEO of RWE AG comments, “We are pleased to have found and appointed an experienced and accomplished successor to Erwin Winkel. Kemo Razanica is familiar with personnel change processes in industrial enterprises from various negotiation and decision-making perspectives. He has demonstrated great foresight and a sense of responsibility throughout his professional career.”
